2010 WinterFest

Here in a few days the 2010 Smoky Mountain Winterfest will begin, it will be kicked off Sevierville on November 8, at this event there will be Free food, local entertainment, kids’ games and fireworks, there will be fun for the whole family. The evening wraps up with “flipping of the switch” on the area’s first Winterfest lights. Next is Pigeon Forge on November 9, Pigeon Forge will Kicks off there Winterfest at Patriot Park, Pigeon Forge has over five million spectacular  lights dazzling through out the town! The fun continues up in gatlinburg on november 10th,  with the Winter Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff – The City of Gatlinburg kicks off Gatlinburg Winter Magic™ from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the Downtown Parkway by turning on over three million lights. You can enjoy live entertainment by the Marvelettes, sample dozens of chili recipes from local restaurants and businesses, and Spectacular fireworks at dusk during the opening ceremony.

Winterfest lasts from November 9th, 2010 through February 28th, 2011, there are over five million, beautiful shinning lights,  throughout these three Smoky Mountain town’s.

Even in winter there are always stuff to do. Come check out the lights, so some shopping, see a couple of our great shows and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Great Smoky Mountain National park.
